KEY DETAILS:

We’re looking for a new ‘full time’ team member to join our small team of pond and aquarium professionals.

Standard duties and responsibilities include:

• Water changing and general maintenance of both freshwater and marine aquarium systems 

• Vacuuming, sludge removal and general cleaning of pond systems

• Water quality assessment and fish health management for both freshwater and marine systems

• Equipment servicing and installation (including pumps and filters) of marine and freshwater aquariums and ponds

• Stocktake of essential products and equipment used

Key Selection Criteria:

• Knowledge of ornamental fish keeping and fish husbandry - demonstrated through an understanding of marine / freshwater aquarium systems, pond systems and / or aquaculture systems

• Practical understanding of aquarium and/or pond equipment and systems

• Proven ongoing interest and engagement with ornamental fish and their life support systems 

• The ability to work independently and also as part of a small team
